Celebrating

We celebrated Ben's 35th birthday this weekend with a party at our local park. Carne asada tacos, guacamole and chips, and 2 birthday cakes (why have 1 when you can have 2?).

My dad snapped a picture of us, which is great, because I don't think we've gotten a shot of the two of us since I started showing.

Racing around to get everything ready takes more out of me now than I'm used to. What happened to my energizer bunny? Gotta cram it all in while I still have energy and bend-ability, right? It's worth it in the end, and we had a great party- the weather even held out for us, which was greatly appreciated. East-coasters still braving freezing temps? So sorry 'bout that... you should come visit us!

And for those of you wondering about this years crown...

Ben's "Busy Bee" birthday crown. Spray insulation foam, fimo clay, lots of glitter, and pipe cleaners. I can't -wait- to see what he cooks up for me next month when I turn 36...
